Application Mixes

Application mixes are an integral part of testing against the NetSecOPEN-authored requirements. The goal is to create near-real-world traffic for the DUT to inspect.
 

The current version of the app mix is 1.1(NetSecOPEN-App_Mix-1.1).

 

The apps mixes have, and will continue to, evolve over time. The initial app mix, version 1.0 (NetSecOPEN-App_Mix-1.0),  consisted of a selection of business-related applications and was published in the third quarter of 2017.

 

Late in 2022, NetSecOPEN released an update to the app mix, version 1.1. (NetSecOPEN-App_Mix-1.1) It consisted of two sets of applications. One targeting a typical Healthcare environment, and the second, Education.
